…seeking calm.

…seeking a peaceful lifestyle.

…seeking quiet.

A desire has been growing in my heart.

A quiet prompting….to move on from the Simple Bliss blog.

It’s been a fun few years of writing and interacting with readers.

But, it feels like time to pull back.

I have thought about it before, but have felt that it was not the right time.

It is the right time now.

There are other avenues and activities that I want to pursue in my life – the first requirement for these changes is time. Time not spent on the computer.

I will no longer be posting here at Simple Bliss; and will probably take the blog down at some point. I will continue posting periodic teaching/learning ideas at Play. Learn. Grow.

Thanks for spending time with me over the past several years.

God bless!

I have been using this to clean for months now – I purchased a bulk box of it – it’s that good. It takes grime off the counters, hard water spots off the shower, and goo off of the shelves in the fridge.

It’s made by the company Earth Friendly Products, we also use their laundry detergent. So far we have thought very highly of everything purchased from this company.

A few months ago, I was chatting with a good friend. We were talking about how sometimes we just get in a funk, and we don’t know how to get out of it. That’s when she remembered this great list that she read.

Michael Hyatt is the chairman of Thomas Nelson publishers, and he composed a list of “24 Hacks for Getting Out of Your Funk.” As we read through the list, we thought of several great applications for his ideas to add to our own lives.

As I talked about it with my husband, he suggested adding to the list a bunch of ideas of things that I love to do. When I get in a funk, I often forget what it is that I even like to do when I have free time. So, having an additional list of activities that I enjoy, projects that I am working on, and goals that I have for myself has been so helpful!

If you are prone to a “funk” I recommend reading Michael’s list and adding your own ideas and inspirations to the list!
