This is a wonderfully simple and yummy dessert!
Pound Cake (12 servings)
1/2 lb butter
1/2 lb eggs
1/2 lb sugar
1/2 lb flour
1/4 lb milk
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla extract
Mix butter, sugar, and flour. Add other ingredients. Bake at 325 about 75 minutes.
(It’s a literal pound cake – and so I had to have a picture!)
Strawberry Glaze (4 servings)
1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
chopped strawberries until amount of sauce wanted
chopped strawberries until amount of chunks wanted
Cook on low heat. Mix strawberries for sauce and vanilla until saucy. Smash with potato masher, Add other berries and warm.
