Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

½ c + 6 T. butter, softened
¾ c. firmly packed brown sugar
½ c. sugar
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
1 ½ c. flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. ground cinnamon
½ t. salt
3 c. oats
1 c. raisins

Heat oven to 350. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugars on medium speed until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt; mix well. Add oats and raisins; mix well. Drop dough on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes.

These cookies went over very well at our house! I hope that you enjoy them as much as we did!

    I tried this recipe and it was SO delicious! I used Sucanat to replace both sugars and it still tastes great! Also, I did half a batch with raisins, half with dried cranberries and both were terrific. Thanks for the recipe!
