Thought, Prayer, and a Plan

I took a week off of the blog last week as a part of a little experiment. In my search for a simpler way of life I wondered if the upkeep on this blog was getting to be too much. So I took a week off to think about it, to pray about it, and determine a plan of action.

I found that I missed sharing thoughts with you. I missed the interaction with people from around the country through comments and emails as a result of posts. I got the feeling through my prayer that this is part of God’s continuing will for me at this time in my life.

But it is overwhelming to serve my kids at work, keep my home, serve others in my community, love on my husband, etc. and keep up with blogging.

I seek to write content that is well thought through and well written. I want what I write to be encouraging, challenging, informative, and inspiring. Thus, I will be cutting back slightly on my posting frequency.

My goal to this point has been to post once a day during the work week. I am no longer holding myself to that same goal. Instead, my goal will be to post two to five times a week. This should allow me to continue sharing on my blog and interacting with you while allowing for a bit more simplicity.

Thank you for your understanding over the last week and in the upcoming weeks and months. I am glad to be back!

  3. Your posts are awesome, and I totally understand the work-load! I am also a full-time teacher and wife…and now we have two puppies…craziness! When you feel like your plate is too full…it’s good to not overeat.

I love your craft posts and all of them, really. Keep up the great work! =)
