I put together a recipe book several months ago. I printed all of the recipes that we use, put them in page protectors to protect them while I’m cooking, and put them behind tab dividers. There was a problem though; you couldn’t see the dividers because the page protectors were wider than the tabs.
To remedy the situation I printed the titles of the dividers on colored paper and put them in page protectors as well. This way the color is noticeable and I can find the tabs easily. Such an easy fix!

(whew! Sorry for the blurry photo!)
This post is a part of kitchen tip Tuesday!

I have a book very similiar to yours I love the colored tab idea
I used a binder to keep a lot of information in at my old job. I put the pages in page protectors because I was getting tired of the dog-earred corners on the papers. I had the same problem, I couldn’t find the sections that I needed. I went to the office supply store and bought some sticky colored tabs (the kind you slide a little piece of paper into with the title) and stuck them on the page protectors. They weren’t expensive, but I love that you found a much cheaper alternative!
