Getting your whole body clean is so easy!
Use a bar of homemade soap, Dr. Bronners, Burts Bees, Toms of Maine, or Ivory to wash your body.
I’ve tried Dr Bronner’s lavender soap and loved it; it smells so fantastic! I have found these bars for around $6 at Target and around $4 at Whole Foods. While it seems like a hefty price, I have been using this one bar to wash my hair and body everyday for 6 weeks and probably have another two weeks to go. I could not purchase enough Suave shampoo and body wash to last 7-8 weeks for that price!
I’ve also used Ivory – it’s the purest non-vegetable oil based soap on the market and a good bit cheaper.
If you prefer a body wash rather than bar soap, here is a very simple method to make your own:
Body Wash
1. Grate a bar of soap into a bowl.

2. Dump the bowl into the blender. Add water (2-3 cups per bar of soap).

(Make sure not to overflow your blender – soap that is blended will foam!)

3) Pour into several old body wash bottles and enjoy!

Vanessa, I tried this and it worked great! Thanks for the idea!
I’m so glad it worked for you! I simply love the simplicity!
