While talking about Saturday and Sunday being called the weekend I thought to ask my kids what teachers do on the weekend. Here are some responses:
“Sleep. Because they don’t get to lay down during rest time and they get lots of tiredness.”
“Play all their video games.”
“Work at the school.”
“Boring adult things like paying the bills and going shopping. I hate going shopping.”
“Paint their houses.”
“Go to teacher meetings.”
“Go potty. They don’t get to go potty at school because they have to watch us!”
“Eat junk food and watch tv.”
Ah, I love young children!
Well…that pretty much sums it up!
