Yesterday Crystal at Money Saving Mom had a baking day. She has these once every several months but it seems that the days she chooses and the days that I choose never line up for me to participate in the party (and post my linky).
But yesterday our plans to bake lined up! So here I am posting the results of my baking day.
I made a gallon bag full of small dinner rolls and a gallon bag full of yummy garlic roll ups.
A full batch of pancakes and another ranch dressing recipe trial.
And last, but certanly not least, an apple pie. Cole has been asking for a pie for a while – and as you can tell we dug in before I could get the picture taken.
It was a very successful afternoon! The rolls and pancakes are to be frozen for use in the fall. Hopefully today I will be able to use the ranch dressing to make a pasta salad.
Wow… that pie looks so GOOD!!! I have a bag of pie cherries in the freezer from a friend’s tree last 4th of July. I think I’ll have to pull them out and make a pie today.
