Simplifying :: Using Food Purees

I’ve really enjoyed reading this book. While I don’t agree with the concept of deceiving people, I love the idea of mixing nutritious fruits and veggies into other foods. The concept of the book is to include fruit and vegetable purees into other recipes.

I love the idea because it serves to simplify meal time. I would love to eat 5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables everyday for the excellent nutrition. However, I don’t want to have to plan to eat that many times. I am also not very good about remembering to add that many servings of fruits and vegetables into the meals that I am eating. Having them pre-mixed into some of our foods will serve to further boost the nutrition in the food that we eat!

This seems like a very easy way to simplify the way that we are living – I can’t wait to give this a try!
