Pineapple Upside Down Cake

We tried this cake recipe and it was delicious! The top (bottom) is crispy with a moist cake. Delicious and far better than any cake mix we have ever made.

1 ¼ c. flour
2/3 c. sugar
2 t. baking powder
½ t. salt
1/3 c. butter, softened
½ c. milk
1 t. vanilla
1 egg

Topping:
20 oz. crushed pineapple
¼ c. butter
1 c. brown sugar

Preheat oven to 350. Spray pan, melt butter in the pan. Add the brown sugar to the butter and mix. Add pineapple and set aside. Mix cake and pour on top. Bake 40 – 60 minutes.
