Enchillada Sauce

Substitute this homemade version in any recipe that calls for enchilada sauce.

15 oz. tomato sauce
½ c. water
2 ½ t. chili powder
½ t. salt
½ t. garlic posder
¼ t. ground cumin
5-6 drops Tabasco sauce

Simmer 20 minutes.

    I’m glad you shared this Vanessa! I was just wondering how to make enchillada sauce the other day. Do you have a recipe for green enchillada sauce?

    By the way, we have the same kitchen counter!!!

    I make up a pan of this the day before I decide to make all of our meals with the amount that I think I will be needing – it works great.

    I don’t know how to make green enchilada sauce…I don’t think I even have a recipe with green sauce in it. What do you use it in?
