Caleb helped me to make an apple pie while we were at my Grandma’s house for Thanksgiving. He rolled out the dough into a circle for the bottom crust. He placed the cut apples in the pie. He rolled the dough into a circle for the top. After I cut the top into strips he made the lattice pattern on the top of the pie; I was so surprised by how quickly he caught onto the pattern.
We had so much fun and he felt so accomplished with HIS pie! I love watching that little guy grow in the number of things that he can do and in how well he can converse. There were several funny caleb conversations during the weekend – what a great kid.
He was born with so much to overcome and he is growing up to be a wonderful, delightful, though somewhat tiring little boy!
