I love living in Kansas! I will follow my husband wherever he decides would be wise to move our family (Colorado would be wonderful!) but if we never left this state I would be perfectly content!
When we traveled to Colorado for our anniversary trip I took a ton of pictures of western Kansas and the beauty of farm country and small towns in the Central Plains.
I think that they are beautiful, perhaps because I was raised in the big city but love and crave the simplicity of small town life.
So, I’m going to share some of them….hope you enjoy.
In the spirit of simplicity, no more words.

Vanessa,
I totally understand about your love for the simplicity of country life. My mother came from a small rural community in Southern Illinois and I love visiting there and looking how how everything seems to move at a different pace and is so peaceful. Your first picture was wonderful – can’t wait to see more of them!!
V-dog,
Have old Cole go work for Google and there you wind up in Denver. It is a wonderful place, the Googleplex there. It has EVERYTHING. And when I do internships there I can stay with you!
And mom would like you to live there so she could go visit.
Beautiful pictures. I also crave the small town simplicity. We lived in a small town for 2 years and I absolutely loved it. I was so sad when we moved. Maybe we will end up there again one day…
