The island is officially in use! (with a cardboard top until the countertop comes in)
The far left cabinet has muffin tins, cookie sheets, cutting boards, etc. The right two cabinets are full of baking goods. The left drawer is plastic storage bags, the middle drawer flips out to hold sponges and things for the sink, and the right drawer holds the silverware.
I love all of my snapware containers filled with the cooking/baking products and pastas we use the most! (They were a graduation gift from Cole’s mom and stepdad) Some basic canned goods and a variety of oils. Yay! for not having to go downstairs to get food everytime I cook (and invariably leaving something down there that I needed to pick up….several trips later I would be ready to start baking!)
We would eventually like to get a spice rack for the back of a door in the island, but for now this drawer intended for canned goods works mighty nice.
