Now that I have storage space for the everyday essentials in the island, the pantry is much better organized. It holds cereal, some kitchen gadgets which get used less than weekly, canned goods, and stockpiled pastas, flours, etc. Wonderful!
(Small skinny rooms, like the pantry, are really hard to photograph!)

With the addition of the island, I was finally able to move things around in the kitchen. Cole’s dad visited this weekend and the boys got to work plumbing the island.
The island cabinets are in place, secured to the floor, and have plumbing for a sink. The counter top has been ordered — when it arrives we will be borrowing a friend’s truck to pick up the counter and the beadboard [...]

The first area of the house to experience a turnaround was the master bedroom and bathroom.
Tasks Completed:
– wash all bedding
– dust all surfaces
– dust fan
– flip mattress
– vacuum
– vacuum floorboards
– dust blinds
– clean out bookcase
– minimized the clothes we have in the closet. All clothes fit well and are worn regularly.
