I didn’t have the recipe on me yesterday when I wrote my post about our Chinese Fried Rice. Here it is for your enjoyment:
1/8 c. oil (I used peanut, but any oil should work)
3 c. cold pre-cooked rice
2 shallots, minced
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. diced chicken
3 large eggs
1.5 T. soy sauce
1/2-2 c. frozen veggies (you choose the type and amount)
Heat the oil in a large skillet. Add the rice and cook it until it is a golden color and hot. Add the shallots, veggies, chicken, and salt to the skillet and cook until the meat is cooked through. Create a bowl in the middle of the skillet, add the eggs, and scramble. Add soy sauce and blend all ingredients.
Enjoy!

LOL
I’m confused! Soy sauce has one of the highest MSG content….I have severe reaction from restaurant food when it has soy sauce.
Soy Sauce often times does have MSG in it. It’s an instance where you have to read the label every time you purchase a new bottle to make sure that yours is MSG free.
What brand of Soy Sauce do you use? Also, with oil stay clear of vegetable oil because most are made from soy beans. I was having bad reactions from that. Canola or Olive oil are the two I use. Thanks for the recipe.
