Some dear friends have a baby coming in a few weeks. They don’t know if it will be a baby boy or a girl, so when I was trying to come up with a baby gift that wasn’t gender specific I had a bit of difficulty. Then it occurred to me that they live in Manhattan, KS — KSU is much beloved by their family (as it is by ours). Thus, I decided to make some purple, lavender, and white baby blocks. The blocks are made of felt and filled with batting (thus if big brother throws them at baby, baby will be safe!).

They were so fun to make!
Hey girl! Those blocks are adorable!! I may be ordering some once you get up and running. I am also going to teach Kindergarten next year so I may need a cute bag for that!! Congrats on graduating!!!
Hey Vanessa!
These blocks are beautiful! I’m actually expecting a baby this fall and I think these would be a wonderful addition to the nursery. Once Tim and I find out the gender and decide on a color scheme, I’ll have to get back to you…these are great! You’re so crafty!
