Last night, when I finally got home from school at 8:00, Cole had already started dinner! It was so wonderful to come home to a yummy smelling home. I went with him to the basement to see the rewiring he had done on our lights in the basement so that they will be better placed when the basement is finished. Coming up the stairs to the kitchen, I completely blacked out for a few short (seemed like a long time!) seconds. He caught me from behind and helped me to the couch as my whole world spun around me. The slight headache I had (as I have them daily) started racing towards a migraine. He served up dinner, got me my migraine medicine, and a sugary drink (should I simply have low blood sugar) and served them all to me on the couch. When I was done with what I could handle (as I was starting to feel very sick) he helped me up the stairs and into bed. He took such wonderful care of me and kept asking if there was something that he could do.
Today, when I woke up I still had my headache and was feeling very off balance; however, I determined that I would be able to make it back to school (today was a day full of classes!). He asked that I call when I got to school, when I was leaving, and when I got back home.
What a wonderful man I married!! I am so tremendously blessed!!
If you think to, I would appreciate your prayers. I have been needing to go to the doctor about my migraines…and should last night be related to them, I definitely need to go to the doctor now!

Husbands are so wonderful, aren’t they?! I hope you are feeling better soon. If it helps to hear a funny story about passing out from one teacher to another:
My first day at my teaching job, during new teacher orientation, I passed out during the health video, right in front of the superintendent. They did a room clear before they attempted to shake me awake. Ahhh, just he impression I was wanting to make. I’ve never passed out before or since, but I still get teased about it.
Glad to hear that Cole is taking good care of you! Definitely get to the doctor to get those headaches checked out. I’ve had migraines for years, and it’s not fun. The passing out would make me want to investigate further. Let us know what you find out.
